Fisher- Price has launched a new series of toys children and their parents might equally enjoy.
The new Laugh & Learn products are inspired by products from the 1980s and 1990s, aiming to lean into young parents’ love of nostalgia and help them relive childhood memories.
“At Fisher- Price, we’re always looking for ways to create playful connections between children and the grownups in their lives,” said Chuck Scothon, Fisher- Price senior vice president and global head of infant and preschool at Mattel.
The toys include Busy Boombox, for $ 19.99, which has music and lessons for babies.
Puppy’s Mixtape, for $ 7.99, looks like a cassette tape and teaches the alphabet, counting and colors through songs, sounds and phrases.
The new line also includes Lil’ Gamer, for $ 9.99, a hand- held gaming “console” with nostalgic music, sounds and phrases that directions, colors, numbers and shapes.
In August, Fisher- Price launched a series of toys inspired by the new workfrom- home wave spurred by the pandemic. Mattel, which owns Fisher-Price, also released a new line of action figures and toys resembling essential workers, including doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, grocery workers and delivery drivers.
