“What is calming now is to realize is that he is back with his life partner, Roy Horn, and at peace,” Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman wrote in a series of tweets Thursday honoring Siegfried Fischbacher, who died Wednesday night at his home in Las Vegas after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 81.
