MAKING WAVES SUMMERFEST
Summerfest in Milwaukee, the country's largest music festival, is on the move again. Originally set for a trio of three- day weekends beginning June 24, Summerfest on Tuesday announced it is being postponed. The new dates are now Sept. 2- 4, 9- 11 and 16- 18. It's the second year in a row the 53- year- old crown jewel of the City of Festivals has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, which canceled virtually every mass gathering event in country beginning last March. Other major music festivals in the U. S. – including Bonnaroo in Tennessee, Governor's Ball in New York and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival – previously announced they would push off their festivals, typically set for May and June, to September and October.
