Time magazine’s annual list of the

100 most influential people of the year, released

Wednesday. The royals are featured on one of the magazine’s seven covers that include gymnast Simone Biles; actor Kate Winslet; singer Billie Eilish; director- general of the World Trade Organization Ngozi OkonjoIweala; CEO of NVIDIA Jensen Huang and writer Cathy Park Hong. The royals were praised by Time for “springing into action” and using their platform for good. “In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle,” wrote chef and activist José Andrés in a feature.
