Hundreds trapped in Mariupol plant

Badly wounded soldiers and civilians are still trapped at the Azovstal steel plant, the last major holdout in the port city of Mariupol, a Ukrainian official says. “The situation is deteriorating every day,” Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk says. Bombardments continue to target the complex as Russia struggles to complete a takeover of the besieged city.
