MAKING WAVES MONICA LEWINSKY

-

After reports surfaced that Beyoncé will change a lyric on her new album “Renaissance” following accusations of ableism, Lewinsky is calling on the singer to make an additional rewrite. Beyoncé has faced backlash for using the word “spaz” on her song “Heated.” Spasticity is defined as an “abnormal muscle tightness due to prolonged muscle contraction,” according to Johns Hopkins Medicine. Lewinsky tweeted the pop star also should consider tweaking lyrics in “Partition,” from 2013. “Uhmm, while we’re at it… # Partition,” wrote Lewinsky. The song includes a suggestive reference to Lewinsky’s widely publicized affair with then- President Bill Clinton in the 1990s.
