Expanding Breeze to carry passengers farther

Low- cost airline adds 22 routes, 1 new destination

- Zach Wichter

“Here we grow again,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO said in a statement. “We’re always looking for new routes that people are traveling today but can’t get there nonstop. So, at Breeze, we’ll get you there twice as fast for about half the price.”

What to expect when flying Breeze

As a low- cost carrier, Breeze sells different fare bundles that come with different levels of amenities. The cheapest “nice” bundle doesn’t include checked or personal baggage, for example, while the “nicer” bundle does include both of those options and gives you access to an economy seat with more legroom. The “nicest” bundle gets you a bump to the airline’s first- class seat product where available and includes a higher baggage allowance and onboard drinks and snacks.
