victory: Atlanta will win easily if its offensive line dominates against the Saints the way it did against the Panthers. QB Matt Ryan was not sacked by a Carolina pass rush that’s tougher than what New Orleans has up front. C Alex Mack and the rest of the Falcons offensive line helped set up a big game for RB Tevin Coleman, who proved tough to tackle en route to 107 yards on 16 carries. Rookie RB Ito Smith was also efficient, averaging better than 5 yards per rush. The Falcons need S Damontae Kazee to stay on the field and not get ejected, as he was last week for a hit on Panthers QB Cam Newton.
Matchup to watch: Saints CB Marshon Lattimore vs. Falcons WR Julio Jones. Lattimore held his own last year as a rookie against Jones. He has to do his best to avoid penalties.
Who wins? In another tough NFC South matchup between two of the best teams in the NFL, home-field advantage will win out.
