Danny Sheridan’s line: Eagles by 6

Cowboys’ keys to victory: The Cowboys must focus on getting WR Amari Cooper involved against a banged-up Eagles secondary. To do that, they will need to provide protection for their embattled quarterback, Dak Prescott. The Cowboys took steps by replacing offensive line coach Paul Alexander with his assistant, Marc Colombo. The Eagles play a ton of man coverage, so Prescott will have every opportunity to take shots down the field to Cooper. On defense, the Cowboys need to pressure Eagles QB Carson Wentz and contain WR Golden Tate, who has been particularly effective against Dallas.

Eagles’ keys to victory: The defending Super Bowl champions start the toughest part of their schedule after a bye week. The Eagles will try to get newly acquired WR Golden Tate incorporated into the game plan right away, especially on screens. Tate leads the league in yards after the catch since 2014 and should provide an immediate boost for an offense that ranks 21st in points per game (22.2). On defense, the Eagles must load the box to shut down Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott and force QB Dak Prescott to beat them with his arm.

Matchup to watch: Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence vs. Eagles LT Jason Peters. Lawrence is among the league leaders in quarterback pressures. He’ll look to add to his total against Peters, who has struggled with injuries this season and could be ready to retire.

Who wins? The Eagles need this game, they’re rested coming off a bye and the defense plays lights out at home.

Eagles, 35-21
