Michel hitting his peak at right time
These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 12:
Sizzlers
RB Sony Michel, New England Patriots: It might have been easy to forget about Michel after two missed games and the Week 11 bye. But he was a workhorse against the Jets, racking up 145 total yards and a score. WR Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys: Cooper has revitalized the Dallas offense since his arrival. He was unstoppable on Thanksgiving Day with a season-high 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns. WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers: Torching the Denver Broncos for 13 catches and 189 yards, Smith-Schuster recorded his sixth 100-yard game this season. QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen’s rushing ability is a big part of the Bills’ steady improvement on offense. The latest example: 13 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown. RB Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins: Despite a shoulder injury, Drake had his best fantasy output of the season with 96 combined yards and two TDs. He’s splitting time with Frank Gore, but his efficiency keeps him in flex consideration.
Fizzlers
TE Greg Olsen, Carolina
Panthers: With Devin Funchess inactive, Olsen should have posted more than two catches for 11 yards. He hasn’t had more than 40 receiving yards in a game since Week 9. RB Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears: He hasn’t scored in three weeks and without involvement in the passing game has become a risky start. WR John Brown, Baltimore Ravens: After a hot start, Brown has flopped in his last four games as the Ravens’ game plan looks much different with Lamar Jackson at quarterback. RB Duke Johnson, Cleveland Browns: Just when Johnson and Nick Chubb seemed to be on equal footing, the hotshot rookie turned the backfield into a solo act. Johnson had only three touches Sunday. WR Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles: As quarterback Carson Wentz has struggled, Jeffery has disappeared. He hasn’t had a double-digit fantasy day since Week 7.
