Kittle to the rescue
These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 14:
Sizzlers
TE George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers: Kittle was targeted nine times in each of the past two games. The only difference: In Week 14, he had three times the receiving yardage with 210 yards and a TD.
RB Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals: One of the Bengals’ few bright spots, Mixon was the focal point of the offense against the Los Angeles Chargers. He finished with 138 total yards and a score.
WR T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts: Over the last four weeks, Hilton has averaged 11 targets per game and he’s coming off a season-high 199 receiving yards. He hasn’t scored since Week 11 but is still putting up WR1 numbers.
WR Kenny Stills, Miami Dolphins: Perhaps overlooked in the “Miami Miracle” was Stills making the initial catch — one of eight on the day for 135 yards and a touchdown.
RB Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans: In standardscoring leagues, Henry posted the highest fantasy point total of any player this season with his 238-yard, four-touchdown performance. You can bet he won’t be on as many fantasy benches and waiver wires this week.
Fizzlers
RB LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills: In his first game against the New York Jets, McCoy rushed for 113 yards and two TDs. This time, at home, he injured his hamstring after two carries and did not return.
RB Isaiah Crowell, New York Jets: Like McCoy, Crowell carried the ball twice before a foot injury knocked him out for the rest of the day. It’s possible his season could be in jeopardy.
WR Golden Tate, Philadelphia Eagles: Tate erupted two weeks ago, but fantasy owners who believed were rewarded with one catch for 7 yards vs. Dallas. Unfortunately, his schedule doesn’t get any easier.
WR Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos: With Demaryius Thomas traded and Emmanuel Sanders injured and out for the year, Sutton was a tempting start. However, he showed he is still a rookie with two catches for 14 yards.
WR Kenny Golladay, Detroit Lions: Golladay has become the Lions’ top receiver by default, but he doesn’t seem to be ready for the role either. He has struggled, especially when shadowed by the opponent’s top cornerback.
