Nance has called four other Super Bowls as a playby-play man. Gene Steratore, who served as the head referee last year for Super Bowl LII, will be in the booth with Nantz and Romo.

New England has won five in a row in the series, including beating the then-St. Louis Rams 20-17 in Super Bowl XXXVI on Feb. 3, 2002, in New Orleans. That title was won on Adam Vinatieri’s gamewinnin­g field goal and marked Tom Brady and Belichick’s first Super Bowl championsh­ip together. The teams’ last meeting was Dec. 4, 2016, when the Patriots won 26-10 in Foxborough, Massachuse­tts. It was the Rams’ first season after moving back to Los Angeles from St. Louis and the team fell to 4-8 under then-head coach Jeff Fisher. The Patriots rolled to 10-2 on the way to a Super Bowl LI title.
