Prospect to watch: Eloy Jimenez, OF. Jimenez destroyed upper-level pitching with a .336 batting average and 22 home runs across Class AA and AAA. He has advanced feel for the barrel with plus-plus power to all fields, while his contact skills continued to improve. The 22-year-old has nothing more to prove in the minors and should be up within a few weeks of the season. Sox fans can dream on adding one of the game’s great emerging hitters.
