Giants (2-9) at Eagles (5-7)
Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia TV: ESPN
Danny Sheridan’s line: Eagles by 8 ⁄2

Giants’ keys to victory: The Eagles thrive on creating pressure off the edges, so the Giants must do a better job of taking care of the ball and protecting QB Daniel Jones. New York must win the battle up front, contain DT Fletcher Cox and give Jones the opportunity to pick apart an Eagles secondary that regressed big time during a loss to the Dolphins in Week 13. The Giants will need to key on TE Zach Ertz and RB RB Miles Sanders while pressuring QB Carson Wentz off the edge.
Eagles’ keys to victory: Even in a poor NFC East Division, Philadelphia’s playoff hopes are on life support after an uneven effort against the Dolphins. The Eagles must not allow Jones, QB Saquan Barkley and WR Sterling Shepard to have huge offensive performances. Wentz must be efficient and take what the struggling New York defense will give him. Philadelphia will need to employ an even mixture of running and passing to be successful.
Matchup to watch: Eagles DE Brandon Graham vs. Giants LT Nate Solder. Graham, who has had at least one sack in three out of the last five games, will be a handful to deal with for Solder and right tackle Mike Remmers.
Who wins? The Giants have lost eight straight contests. Philadelphia still controls its own destiny, trailing the Cowboys by one game with four weeks remaining. The Eagles get the Giants twice in the final four weeks, a span in which they face only NFC East teams. The Eagles win to stay in line for a showdown with Dallas on Dec. 22 in Philadelphia.
