Dolphins’ keys to victory: In a matchup between two AFC East Division bottom-dwellers, Miami needs to contain New York’s ground game. The Jets still have to determine whether Mike White or a recovering Zach Wilson (knee) will be their Week 11 quarterback, but either way Miami has struggled against the pass. However, the Dolphins are in the middle of the pack when it comes to stopping the run, and the Jets haven’t consistently run the ball despite some standout, one-off performances, particularly from dualthreat rookie RB Michael Carter. If Carter gets going, Miami’s defense will be in trouble.

Jets keys to victory: New York must focus on shorter passes and picking its spots when it comes to deep balls. This hasn’t been a problem for White, who has thrived underneath but has been able to air it out when the short to intermediate game has been taken away. If Wilson returns to the starting lineup, the Jets need him to replicate some of what White has done. With a weak Dolphins pass defense waiting, this game could be the perfect opportunity to ease rookie Wilson back in, but White’s play has made this a tough decision.

Matchup to watch: Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle vs. Jets secondary. Waddle, a rookie, has two games with double-digit catches. The Jets, meanwhile, have a young secondary led by cornerbacks Bryce Hall and Michael Carter II.

Who wins? The Jets have played better at MetLife Stadium than on the road this season, giving them a slight edge.

Jets, 24-14
