Broncos’ Williams finally breaks out
These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 13:
Sizzlers
RB Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos: With Melvin Gordon sidelined, Williams got his first opportunity to be a bell cow running back. Breaking tackles on nearly every play, he ran for 102 yards and added six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown.
RB Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders: Kenyan Drake’s broken ankle forced Jacobs to carry a heavier workload. He ran for a touchdown and caught all nine targets for 38 yards, making him an even greater factor in PPR formats.
RB David Montgomery, Chicago Bears: In yet another loss, Montgomery erupted for 90 yards and a TD on the ground while catching eight of nine targets for 51 more yards. As the weather turns cold, Montgomery just gets better.
WR Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers: Johnson is the most reliable of Pittsburgh’s receivers. Against Baltimore, he received doubledigit targets (11) for the ninth time this season, finishing with 105 yards and two TDs.
TE George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers: The Seahawks had no answer for Kittle as he gashed them for 181 yards and two scores. Kittle will continue to see tons of targets with Deebo Samuel out.
Fizzlers
QB Tyrod Taylor, Houston Texans: Benched for Davis Mills after completing 5 of 13 passes in a shutout loss to the Colts, Taylor’s starting job may be in jeopardy.
RB Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints: With Alvin Kamara scratched again, fantasy managers had high expectations for Ingram against Dallas. Instead, he struggled, rushing 10 times for 28 yards.
WR Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs: Hill had just two receptions for 22 yards vs. Denver. With the Raiders, Chargers and Steelers up next, Hill’s schedule during fantasy playoffs now looks much less appealing.
WR DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles: Not even a quarterback change could jump-start Smith’s production. Over the last two games, he has just four catches. And with the Eagles entering their bye week, it’s a tough stretch for fantasy managers hoping for a return to the rookie’s early season form.
WR Marvin Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars: With Jacksonville struggling to do much of anything offensively, Jones (two receptions, 11 yards) has been yet another victim of a team that has been unable to get out of its own way this season.
