Saints’ keys to victory: The post-Drew Brees era is off to a pedestrian start in New Orleans, but the Saints still have more than enough talent to nab a win on the road against the Jets. The key will be for QB Taysom Hill avoiding turning the ball over, something he’s struggled to do as a passer this season. Luckily for the Saints, few defenses in the NFL have been as bad at forcing turnovers as the Jets’ this season. The New Orleans’ defense, meanwhile, is among the league’s best at intercepting.

Jets’ keys to victory: The New York running game has been pretty solid lately, but the Saints don’t allow many yards on the ground. That means rookie QB Zach Wilson is going to have to step it up under center. It will help if Wilson has WRs Corey Davis and Elijah Moore on the field together again for the second straight week. Moore blossomed while Davis missed time with an injury, but defenses started keying on the rookie. Having Davis around divides the opponent’s attention and gives Wilson more options to attack a mediocre Saints pass defense.

Matchup to watch: Saints’ rushing attack vs. Jets LB Quincy Williams. Even with Alvin Kamara injured, the Saints rely on their rushing attack plenty. That includes the mobile Hill. Williams, meanwhile, is a lightning-fast tackling machine. He should get plenty of opportunities in the backfield against New Orleans.

Who wins? The Saints still have some variety in how they attack opposing defenses. That’s going to be an issue for the Jets.

Saints, 20-13
