Raiders’ keys to victory: Las Vegas needs to force Kansas City to make more mistakes on offense than it did the first time the teams played this season. Mistakes have been K.C.’s kryptonite this season, be it turnovers or penalties stalling out the offense. The Week 10 between these two teams marked the first game since Week 1 against the Browns that QB Patrick Mahomes threw for multiple scores and no interceptions. Vegas also forced just two offensive penalties by Kansas City.

Chiefs’ keys to victory: In Week 10, the Chiefs dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. They limited the talented edge rush from Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue. On the other side of the ball, they limited the Raiders to just 50 net rushing yards and sacked QB Derek Carr twice. They didn’t lean on the running game, finishing with 94 rushing yards. That should change with RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire back.

Matchup to watch: Raiders CB Casey Hayward vs. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. In Week 10, Mahomes had one of his best performances of the season, completing 70% of his passes for over 400 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. Hayward is the most familiar with Mahomes, having played six career games against him between his time on the Chargers and Raiders.

Who wins? It feels like everything needs to go right for Las Vegas to even have a chance. The Raiders may not have the personnel on offense – let alone the defensive firepower – to keep up.

Chiefs, 51-21
