Bucs’ keys to victory: Tampa Bay built a big first-half lead when it faced the Eagles on the road back in October but barely hung on after a second-half comeback by Philly. It will need to play a more complete game this time around on both sides of the ball, a goal that could be aided by the return of injured stars like LB Lavonte David, OLB Shaquil Barrett and RB Leonard Fournette. Tackling, communication and other fundamentals must improve on defense, while QB Tom Brady will need another big performance from WR Mike Evans and TE Rob Gronkowski.

Eagles’ keys to victory: The primary objective when facing the Bucs is easier said than done, but Philly must get after Brady early and often to have any chance. QB Jalen Hurts has the play-making ability to make the Bucs’ defense pay for any lapses in discipline or technique, something of which the Eagles must take full advantage with creative play-calling. Trick plays, misdirection and quick-hitting throws could slow down Tampa Bay’s aggressive defense.

Matchup to watch: Bucs WR Mike Evans vs. Eagles CB Darius Slay. After WR Chris Godwin’s season-ending knee injury and WR Antonio Brown’s dramatic departure, Evans proved in Week 18 how dominant he can be. Slay is one of the NFL’s best veteran corners.

Who wins? Both teams will take lessons away from their matchup earlier this season, but the Bucs have been nearly unbeatable at home (7-1 ). The Eagles have the playmakers to keep it close, but the return of key players from injury should lift Tampa Bay.
