Tipico Sportsbook line: Chiefs by 13

Broncos’ keys to victory: The secondary still appears to be the weakness of the Chiefs defense with rookies like Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson, Joshua Williams and Bryan Cook getting plenty of snaps. In Week 14 against Kansas City, Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy had one of his best performances of the season with eight receptions for 73 yards and three touchdowns. Jeudy has been great against man coverage.

Chiefs’ keys to victory: Turnovers have been perhaps the biggest issue. From WR Skyy Moore struggling to field punts to QB Patrick Mahomes throwing untimely interceptions, there have been far too many. It’d be nice if they could collectively manage a turnoverfree game.

Matchup to watch: Broncos LB Josey Jewell vs. Chiefs’ Mahomes. Jewell was one of the main reasons the first matchup between the teams was close. He intercepted Mahomes twice when the QB targeted Travis Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster in the middle of the field. Jewell didn’t fall for any of Mahomes’ tricks to lure defenders out of position. Mahomes is sure to be aware of the talented linebacker this time, but will he test Jewell in coverage or go away from his area of the field entirely? I tend to think the prior given the competitive nature of Mahomes.

Who wins? The Chiefs were coasting to their most dominant performance of the season in Week 14 before they got sloppy with the football. At Arrowhead Stadium, the advantage goes to Kansas City, which is 6-1 at home this season.

Chiefs, 42-17
