Lions’ keys to victory: Dominate the line of scrimmage and avoid turnovers. QB Jared Goff took just one sack in a convincing Week 17 victory over the Bears, and RBs Jamaal Williams and De’Andre Swift combined for 222 rushing yards. Can Detroit repeat the effort up front in Green Bay? On defense, stopping RBs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon in the run game will be a priority, and pressure can keep QB Aaron Rodgers unsettled. The Lions must win the turnover battle, especially in terms of Goff avoiding interceptions. The Packers had multiple takeaways in three of the last four games.

Packers’ keys to victory: The Lions produced seven sacks and seven pass breakups in Week 17. Can the Packers protect Rodgers and keep the offense on track? In the last meeting at Ford Field, Rodgers threw three interceptions, and the Packers were 0-for-4 scoring touchdowns in the red zone. The Lions had three players with a run of at least 35 yards and three players with a catch of at least 20 yards against the Bears, so forcing Detroit to use long drives to score has to be a top goal.

Matchup to watch: Lions’ Williams vs. Packers LB De’Vondre Campbell. Williams, the former Packer, has 15 rushing touchdowns this season. Campbell, the 2021 All-Pro, will be tasked with containing the Lions run game and keeping Williams out of the end zone.

Who wins? Who wants to bet against the red-hot Packers at Lambeau Field in a playoff-clinching game?
