STACKED TEAM USA TAKES ON WBC FIELD

The 2023 World Baseball Classic was set to begin March 7 with a star-studded United States team looking to defend its 2017 title, the Americans’ first time winning the tournament that began in 2006.

The Americans begin pool play on March 11, playing four games in five days against Great Britain, Mexico, Canada and Colombia at Chase Field in Arizona. The top two teams advance from the group stage, followed by the singleelim­ination quarterfin­als, semifinals and final at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
