Miami (3-0) at Buffalo (2-1)

Spread (BetMGM):
Bills by 2.5
Dolphins’ keys to victory: Miami’s historic smackdown of the Broncos, which included scoring 70 points, makes it easy to see that the Dolphins offense has the firepower – and, more important the confidence – to hang with the Bills. This game could come down to scrubbing the rushing attack from Buffalo’s offense, but keeping QB Josh Allen in the pocket and pressuring him is more important.
Bills’ keys to victory: Confidence is key. If there’s one team in the NFL that has just as much of it as the Dolphins, it could be the Bills. After their Week 1 stumble, the Bills have found their groove, winning 37-7 in Week 3 over the Commanders. They must keep that up, especially on defense against Miami’s dynamic WR duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. What would help perfectly in that department is a repeat performance of five forced turnovers and nine sacks against Washington last week. CB Tre’Davious White and S Micah Hyde had two of those interceptions.
Matchup to watch: Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill vs. Bills CB Taron Johnson. While Hill’s supreme talent allows him to move anywhere around the offense, he does a lot of damage out of the slot. The Bills won’t blink and change much up, though. Johnson has manned that area of the field since 2018 and will be the focal point of Buffalo’s efforts to stop Hill.
Who wins? While the Bills faithful will make things tough on the Dolphins, Buffalo hasn’t faced a team or offense as talented as Miami.
