Chiefs’ keys to victory: George Karlaftis, Chris Jones

and the defensive line have to be licking their chops after watching New York’s offensive line the past two weeks. OL Duane Brown struggled against LB Micah Parsons in Week 2, and OL Mekhi Becton was part of the reason LB Matthew Judon and the Patriots secured a late safety last week. The Chiefs have to think they just need to stop the run – which the Jets have struggled to establish the past two weeks – and get a little bit of pressure on QB Zach Wilson. Do that, and let QB Patrick Mahomes do the rest.

Jets’ keys to victory: After their performance against the Patriots, their biggest key is to get more creative on offense and find ways to get the ball in the hands of their playmakers. It took way too long for WR Garrett Wilson to get involved in Week 3. The offensive line has to be better, but play calling might be their biggest issue. Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett looks completely lost and too predictable through three weeks. Get Wilson involved, get the run game going and get Zach Wilson’s confidence back.

Matchup to watch: Chiefs TE Travis Kelce vs. Jets linebackers. If you’re going to stop the Chiefs, you have to stop Kelce. The Jets, particularly their linebackers and nickelback Michael Carter II, need to figure out a method to stop Kelce from running around freely.

Who wins? The Jets would love nothing more than to quickly erase the past three weeks. The Chiefs are not the team you want to face when you need a “get-right” game.

Chiefs 31-13
