Eagles (4-0) at Rams (2-2)

Spread (BetMGM):
Eagles by 4.5
Eagles’ keys to victory: The Eagles’ passing attack really woke up against Washington as QB Jalen Hurts threw for 319 yards, but it’s the ground game that will be particularly useful against the Rams in Week 5. Los Angeles hasn’t been great against the run and allowed 133 yards to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4 after giving up 159 to the 49ers in Week 2. Hurts and RB D’Andre Swift could be in for a big game against the Rams, especially given Los Angeles’ inexperience against the readoption on the edge.
Rams’ keys to victory: QB Matthew Stafford has thrown five interceptions this season, and while not all of them have been his fault, he’s putting the defense in a tough spot with turnovers. His pick against the Colts helped let Indianapolis back into the game, and he can’t blame that one on anyone but himself; it was a bad throw behind the receiver. The Rams need a great performance from their quarterback if they’re going to beat the Eagles, whose offense maintains possession and limits opportunities for the opponent.
Matchup to watch: Rams NT Kobie Turner vs. Eagles C Jason Kelce. Turner may not be a player a lot of fans know, but he has a chance to make a name for himself against Kelce and the Eagles’ ground game.
Who wins? This matchup is compelling given the starts by both teams, particularly with the Rams beating the Seahawks and Colts. Philadelphia is finding a groove on offense after a slow start to the season, and their ground game could be too much for LA.
