Bills’ keys to victory: For Buffalo to win, it will need to establish RB James Cook while working to free WR Stefon Diggs up in coverage against Eagles CB Darius Slay. Philadelphia is one of the top NFL teams against the rush, but the Eagles have struggled against the pass. Bills TE Dalton Kincaid has moved up the pecking order for QB Josh Allen. On defense, Bills head coach Sean McDermott will look to pressure Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, forcing Hurts to make accurate decisions on the fly. Pass rusher Leonard Floyd will look to give LT Jordan Mailata problems.

Eagles’ keys to victory: Philadelphia should use plenty of runpass options with RB D’Andre Swift and quick passing opportunities featuring WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. The Eagles will look to make up for the loss of TE Dallas Goedert, and offensive coordinator Brian Johnson will continue getting creative with his usage of WR Julio Jones and athletic TE Albert Okwuegbunam. With the Eagles secondary banged up and having struggled at times in recent weeks, Philadelphia will benefit from the return of CB Bradley Roby in the slot, and he’ll play a role in containing Diggs.

Matchup to watch: Eagles’ Slay vs. Bills’ Diggs. When Eagles defensive coordinator Sean Desai needs a stop or needs to put the clamps on a hot receiver, he’ll call upon Slay, and we expect Slay to travel with Diggs.

Who wins? After firing OC Ken Dorsey, Buffalo responded with a 32-6 win over the Jets at home last week. The Eagles are different, though, especially at home.

Eagles, 31-21
