Packers (6-6) at Giants (4-8)

Spread (BetMGM):
Packers by 6.5
Packers’ keys to victory: Create explosive plays in the passing game and protect the football. The Packers’ recent surge on offense has been fueled by big plays. QB Jordan Love has been more accurate down the field and the young WRs, including Christian Watson and Jayden Reed, have made more plays. Love must hit explosive plays against a Giants defense giving up about 7 yards per pass attempt. Taking care of the ball is also vital. The Giants produced nine total takeaways in back-toback wins over the Commanders and Patriots. Can Love find a balance between big plays and avoiding turnovers?
Giants’ keys to victory: Dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides. Getting RB Saquon Barkley going is vital, but so is protecting young QB Tommy DeVito. The offensive line must play its best game of the season. Defensively, the Giants must take away the Packers run game and force Love into a one-dimensional offense. The defensive front must produce sacks to end drives and pressure to create takeaway opportunities in obvious passing situations.
Matchup to watch: Packers LG Elgton Jenkins vs. Giants DL Dexter Lawrence: Finally over a knee injury, Jenkins will be tasked with keeping Lawrence – one of the most disruptive interior defenders in football – from taking over the contest.
Who wins? The Giants are at home and coming off the bye, but the Packers are the more wellrounded team on both sides of the ball.
