Eagles’ keys to victory: The blueprint for Philadelphia was laid in its win over the Giants in Week 16. The first order of business should be limiting big plays: swarm RB Saquon Barkley whenever he has the ball and keep a safety over WR Jalin Hyatt. Offensively, the Eagles need to score early and take the wind out of New York’s sails while also quieting the crowd. Given that the Giants struggle to score, going up early will force them to move away from Barkley, who is their biggest offensive threat.

Giants’ keys to victory: Forcing turnovers has been the Giants’ defensive recipe for success this season. Defensive coordinator Don Martindale will dial up blitzes to keep the Eagles off-balance, while continued pressure on QB Jalen Hurts, who is near the league lead in turnovers, should result in takeaways. QB Tyrod Taylor must protect the ball while also attacking a struggling Eagles secondary. Pushing the ball down the field to Hyatt and WR Darius Slayton will open things up for Barkley and result in more manageable thirddown situations.

Matchup to watch: Eagles OL Jason Kelce vs. Giants NT Dexter Lawrence. The Eagles converted on key third and fourth downs the last time they met, and that’s ultimately what spelled the difference. Kelce got the better of Lawrence in several big situations.

Who wins? The Eagles still have playoff seeding for which to play. The Giants’ talent deficiencies will ultimately spell their doom.

Eagles, 30-23
