Obama: Libya action, Peace Prize in step

Obama doesn’t see a contradiction between his Nobel Peace Prize and his actions in Libya.

“I think the American people don’t see any contradiction in somebody who cares about peace also wanting to make sure that people aren’t butchered because of a dictator who wants to cling to power,” Obama told CNN en Español in an interview taped in El Salvador.

Critics of the Libya action, such as Bolivian President Evo Morales, have called on the Nobel committee to revoke Obama’s 2009 prize.
