Louisville jumps from 18th to fourth in final men’s coaches poll,

Points: 775 (31 first-place votes). Previous ranking: 1. Outlook: Will there be another one-and-done exodus? Freshmen Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-gilchrist and Marquis Teague excelled. F Terrence Jones flirted with leaving last year, and Darius Miller is a senior. G Doron Lamb and F Kyle Wiltjer are due back, and UK has signed three blue-chippers thus far in Fs Willie Cauley and Alex Poythress and G Archie Goodwin. 2. Kansas (32-7)

Points: 744. Previous ranking: 6. Outlook: Standout F Thomas Robinson has a year left, but will he return? Also due back are Gs Elijah Johnson and Travis Releford, C Jeff Withey and F Kevin Young. The Jayhawks lose point guard Tyshawn Taylor and three-point threat Conner Teahan. 3. Ohio State (31-8)

Points: 705. Previous ranking: 7. Outlook: F Jared Sullinger came back for his sophomore season, but another return would be a surprise. Although high-scoring G William Buford departs, this was a young team that has a lot of talent due back, including Gs Aaron Craft and Lenzelle Smith Jr. and Fs Deshaun Thomas, Evan Ravenel and Sam Thompson. 4. Louisville (30-10)

Points: 661. Previous ranking: 18. Outlook: Gs Kyle Kuric and Chris Smith are departing, and F Jared Swopshire is transferri­ng. The Cardinals are due to return a top-notch point guard in Peyton Siva along with shot-blocking C Gorgui Dieng, freshman F Chane Behanan and G Russ Smith. 5. Syracuse (34-3)

Points: 641. Previous ranking: 2. Outlook: The Orange will lose PG Scoop Jardine and F Kris Joseph, and the future of ineligible C Fab Melo is cloudy at best. G Dion Waiters is opting for the pros. Gs Brandon Triche and Michael Carter-williams return with Fs C.J. Fair and James Southerlan­d and Cs Rakeem Christmas and Baye Keita. 6. North Carolina (32-6)

Points: 624. Previous ranking: 5. Outlook: The Tar Heels will have a much different look with the departure of C Tyler Zeller and earlydraft entries by Fs John Henson and Harrison Barnes and PG Kendall Marshall. Due back are F James Michael Mcadoo and Gs Reggie Bullock and P.J. Hairston. The Heels also should get Gs Dexter Strickland and Leslie Mcdonald back from injuries. 7. Michigan State (29-8)

Points: 566. Previous ranking: 4. Outlook: Do-everything F Draymond Green departs along with Gs Brandon Wood and Austin Thornton. G Keith Appling is due back with Gs Branden Dawson (coming off knee injury) and Travis Trice and Cs Derrick Nix (currently suspended) and Adreian Payne. 8. Baylor (30-8)

Points: 564. Previous ranking: 10. Outlook: Forward Perry Jones III returned for another season, but will he opt now for the draft? The Bears are losing F Quincy Acy. Among those due to return are F Quincy Miller and sharpshoot­ing Gs Pierre Jackson and Brady Heslip.

9. Florida (26-11)

Points: 506. Previous ranking: 21. Outlook: The Gators are losing G Erving Walker, but plenty of talent is due back for another run at Southeaste­rn Conference honors. Included are Gs Bradley Beal, Kenny Boynton, Mike Rosario and Scottie Wilbekin, wing Casey Prather and Fs Erik Murphy and Patric Young. NCAA

10. Marquette (27-8)

Points: 464. Previous ranking: 11. Outlook: After contending all season in the Big East, the Golden Eagles lose conference player of year Jae Crowder from the front line and highscorin­g G Darius Johnson-odom. Gs Vander Blue and Junior Cadougan are due to return along with Fs Jamil Wilson and Davante Gardner and C Chris Otule (knee), out for most of the season. 11. Missouri (30-5)

Points: 425. Previous ranking: 3. Outlook: After a surprising early tournament eliminatio­n, the Tigers are in rebuilding mode as they enter the SEC with the departures of Gs Marcus Denmon, Kim English and Matt Pressey, F Ricardo Ratliffe and C Steve Moore. Due back are Gs Phil Pressey and Michael Dixon and F Laurence Bowers, who missed this season with a knee injury. NCAA result: Lost to Norfolk State 86-84.

12. Wisconsin (26-10)

Points: 424. Previous ranking: 13. Outlook: Standout G Jordan Taylor departs along with wing Rob Wilson. Due to return are Fs Ryan Evans, Jared Berggren, Frank Kaminsky and Mike Bruesewitz along with Gs Josh Gasser and Ben Brust. NCAA results: Beat Montana 73-49, beat then-no. 24 Vanderbilt 60-57, lost to then-no. 2 Syracuse 64-63.

13. Indiana (27-9)

Points: 382. Previous ranking: 17. Outlook: The Hoosiers could make more noise in the Big Ten with the expected return of Fs Cody Zeller, Christian Watford, Will Sheehey and Derek Elston along with Gs Jordan Hulls and Victor Oladipo. Gs Matt Roth and Verdell Jones III depart. NCAA results: Beat New Mexico State 79-66, beat Virginia Commonweal­th 63-61, lost to No. 1 Kentucky 102-90.

14. Duke (27-7)

Points: 336. Previous ranking: 8. Outlook: An unexpected early NCAA exit should have the Blue Devils primed to do better, though star G Austin Rivers is leaving early. Gs Seth Curry, Quinn Cook and Tyler Thornton are among those due back with Fs Mason Plumlee, Josh Hairston and Ryan Kelly. F Miles Plumlee departs. NCAA result: Lost to Lehigh 75-70.

15. Florida State (25-10)

Points: 325. Previous ranking: 12. Outlook: High-scoring G Michael Snaer and G Ian Miller are due to return, along with F Okaro White. But there will be holes to fill with the departure of F-C Xavier Gibson, F Bernard James and Gs Luke Loucks and Deividas Dulkys. NCAA

results: Beat St. Bonaventur­e 66-63, lost to then-unranked Cincinnati 62-56.

16. Murray State (31-2)

Points: 283. Previous ranking: 9. Outlook: After a memorable season, the Racers lose Fs Donte Poole and Ivan Aska and G Jewuan Long. Due to return are Gs Isaiah Canaan, Latreze Mushatt and Zay Jackson and F Ed Daniel. NCAA results: Beat Colorado State 58-41, lost to then-no. 11 Marquette 62-53.

17. Georgetown (24-9)

Points: 242. Previous ranking: 15. Outlook: The Hoyas were youthful this season and could be among the contenders in the Big East next year, although backcourt mainstay Jason Clark departs along with C Henry Sims, and F Hollis Thompson is leaving early. Among those due back are Fs Otto Porter, Nate Lubick and Greg Whittingto­n and G Markel Starks. NCAA

18. Cincinnati (26-11)

Points: 216. Previous ranking: Not ranked. Outlook: The Bearcats are losing a key inside presence in F Yancy Gates along with G Dion Dixon. Due to return to the backcourt are Sean Kilpatrick, Cashmere Wright and Jaquon Parker. F Justin Jackson is also scheduled to come back. 19. Vanderbilt (25-11)

Outlook: Star G John Jenkins has a year of eligibilit­y left, but the Commodores are losing wings Jeffery Taylor and Lance Goulbourne, G Brad Tinsley, F Steve Tchiengang and C Festus Ezeli. 20. North Carolina State (24-13)

Points: 146. Previous ranking: Not ranked. Outlook: The Wolfpack are to return Fs C.J. Leslie, Scott Wood and Richard Howell, C Deshawn Painter and G Lorenzo Brown as they attempt to continue their rise in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Departing are Gs C.J. Williams and Alex Johnson. Outlook: Gs Zack Novak and Stu Douglass are departing, but the Wolverines could make noise in the Big Ten with the expected return of Gs Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Matt Vogrich and F Jordan Morgan.
