G Jordan Crawford scored 20 and Washington got 67 points from its bench to win a matchup of teams with the NBA’S worst records. F Corey Maggette scored 23 for Charlotte, which lost its 12th in a row. G George Hill and F Danny Granger each scored 18 points and Indiana held off a fourth-quarter rally by Toronto. G-F Jason Richardson hit six three-pointers and scored 22 points and G J.J. Redick had 20 points for Orlando, which played without C Dwight Howard for the third time in two weeks because of back spasms. Howard also was doubtful for today’s game at Washington, but the team was hopeful he could play Friday against Atlanta. F Pau Gasol had 25 points and nine rebounds and Los Angeles overcame G Kobe Bryant’s absence. Bryant (sore left shin) missed his second game in a row, but G Ramon Sessions helped pick up the slack with 17 points, including a three-pointer that put the Lakers ahead by six with 26 seconds left. C Marc Gasol scored 18 points to lead six Memphis players who scored in double figures as the Grizzlies won their third consecutiv­e game. G Russell Westbrook scored 26 points to carry Oklahoma City in a game that featured seven technical fouls and the ejection of Milwaukee F Larry Sanders. F Kenneth Faried had season highs of 27 points and 17 rebounds and Denver never trailed in its most lopsided win this season. G Devin Harris scored 25 points, including 11 consecutiv­e in the fourth quarter, and Utah boosted its playoff hopes and halted San Antonio’s 11-game winning streak. G Shannon Brown had 17 points and seven rebounds and Phoenix’s reserves outscored Minnesota’s 66-27 in the win. G Goran Dragic had 22 points and seven assists as Houston improved its winning streak to four games. F Lamarcus Aldridge scored 20 for Portland.
