OK to work after turning 65

that age was set decades ago when people didn’t live into their 80s or longer.

A more interestin­g story would have reported informatio­n about those younger than 65 (typically working people) and those who have chosen to keep working after turning 65. The only mention of anyone in that range is 87-year-old Peter White, who says, “You can’t sit around looking at the wall all day.” Exactly! Rock on, White, and any other senior who continues to work (volunteer or paid).

As for those of us in our 50s: We’ll be working for a while given the tuition we need to pay.
