Suspect in Oakland killings interviewed
The man charged with killing seven people at a tiny Christian college in Oakland told a television station that he’s deeply sorry about the shooting.
In a jailhouse interview with San Francisco station KPIX-TV, One Goh said he realizes the victims’ relatives are “so angry with me.” But Goh also said, “If I tell them sorry, it doesn’t bring anybody back.” He acknowledged that his lawyer told him not to discuss the case.
“I only remember parts of that day, and it is too hard to talk about,” said Goh, 43, a former student at the school. He did not appear to make any effort to dispute allegations that he was the gunman April 2 at Oikos University.
