Eustachy to coach at Colorado State

Southern Mississippi’s Larry Eustachy is expected to be named the new men’s basketball coach at Colorado State. Eustachy guided the Golden Eagles to a 25-9 record and their first NCAA tournament appearance since 1991. Eustachy, 57, is 142-113 in eight seasons at Southern Mississippi and has a career coaching record of 402-258 in 19 seasons. He led Utah State to the NCAA tournament in 1998 and guided Iowa State to Big 12 Conference titles and NCAA berths in 2000 and 2001. He is perhaps best known, though, for the photos and videos that circulated of him attending parties with students following road games with his Iowa State team.
