Thrill ride for Rays star

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria recently took flight on an acrobatic stunt airplane sponsored by Red Bull. And what a ride it was.

Big League Stew reported he experienced snap rolls and upright spins, felt the airplane go nose over tail and went straight up at nearly 100 mph.

“I thought we were going down. It went black there for a second. I’m a bit light-headed, but I didn’t throw up,” a relieved Longoria said.
