‘Hunger’ director won’t do sequel

Hunger Games director Gary Ross says he doesn’t have the time to do another installment in the best-selling-book-turned-blockbuster franchise. In a statement from distributor Lionsgate, Ross said the departure reflected no clash with the studio. The Hunger Games crossed the $300 million mark this weekend, making it easily the biggest movie of 2012 thus far.
