- Compiled by John Tkach from staff, wire reports

Brent Sutter is out as coach of the Calgary Flames, who failed to make the NHL playoffs in his three seasons with the team. The team said Thursday that the sides agreed to part ways. The decision came after a meeting between Sutter and general manager Jay Feaster in which different options were discussed. The Flames had a 118-90-38 record under Sutter during his three years. Calgary went 37-29-16 this season.
