Virginia park to be auctioned
A park in Yorktown, Va., known for its towering, 18-foot-tall, 4-ton busts of presidents, is going up for auction. The 10-acre Presidents Park that features 43 busts of U.S. presidents defaulted on a $3.3 million loan. The site opened in 2004 but closed in September 2010 after attendance declined and private funding dried up. The site, with an assessed value of $2.13 million, will go up for auction April 26, according to a legal notice.
