Electric Ford will pace field at Richmond

A 2012 Ford Focus Electric will make history as the first electric car to pace the field of a Sprint Cup race April 28 at Richmond Internatio­nal Raceway. Ford says it hopes the pace car will spread awareness about electric vehicles.

Robert Hight (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) were the class winners in the third annual NHRA Four-wide Nationals.
