U.S. death toll

As of Sunday, 1,810 U.S. servicemem­bers and three Defense Department civilians had been reported killed in the Afghanista­n War.

The latest deaths identified:

- Army Sgt. Tanner S. Higgins, 23, of Yantis, Texas, died Saturday in Logar province from enemy smallarms fire; 75th Ranger Regiment.

-Army Spc. Philip C.S. Schiller, 21, of The Colony, Texas, died Wednesday in Kandahar province from enemy small-arms fire; 2nd Infantry Division.

-Marine Lance Cpl. Abraham

Tarwoe, 25, Providence, died Thursday during combat operations in Helmand province; 2nd Marine Expedition­ary Force.
