Not many visit ‘NYC,’ ‘Apt. 23’

-Late bows. CBS cop show NYC 22, the final net­work pre­miere of this TV sea­son, re­cruited 8.9 mil­lion view­ers Sun­day, be­low CSI: Mi­ami’s typ­i­cal turnout. Wed­nes­day’s opener of ABC com­edy Don’t Trust the B - - - - in Apt. 23 drew a mod­est 6.9 mil­lion but did a bet­ter job of hold­ing on to its Mod­ern Fam­ily lead-in (10.4 mil­lion) than Happy End­ings did.

-Fi­nales. ABC’S Body of Proof claimed a typ­i­cal 10 mil­lion view­ers Tues­day; NBC’S Up All Night was bleary with 3.1 mil­lion Thurs­day be­hind The Of­fice (4.4 mil­lion, ty­ing Fe­bru­ary’s se­ries low). On cable, FX’S Jus­ti­fied (Tues­day) and USA’S Psych (Wed­nes­day) wrapped their third and sixth sea­sons with 2.7 mil­lion apiece.

-Ice­berg! ABC’S four-hour Ti­tanic minis­eries sank with an av­er­age 4.1 mil­lion view­ers Satur­day and Sun­day, when the con­clud­ing hour sent com­pan­ion GCB to a se­ries-low 4.4 mil­lion. In an­other nau­ti­cal dis­as­ter, Life­time’s pre­miere of dat­ing-re­al­ity se­ries Love for Sail drew 292,000 Tues­day fol­low­ing the de­but of spinoff Dance Moms: Mi­ami (952,000). And against it, Shan­nen Do­herty’s lat­est come­back try, WE’S Shan­nen Says, claimed 172,000.

-Girl talk. The de­but of HBO’S buzzy com­edy Girls was low with 872,000 view­ers Sun­day be­hind the se­ries fi­nale of East­bound and Down (1.1 mil­lion) and the steady Game of Thrones (3.8 mil­lion).

-Leg­endary. The de­but of Nick­elodeon’s an­i­mated The Leg­end of Korra com­manded a solid 4.5 mil­lion view­ers Satur­day morn­ing and ranked fourth for the week on cable. In other cable open­ers, Dis­cov­ery’s Dead­li­est Catch caught 3.1 mil­lion Tues­day; TLC’S Mama’s Boys of the Bronx was low with 817,000 Mon­day; and Week 2 of Life­time’s The Client List (2.9 mil­lion) was up slightly Sun­day from last week’s opener.
