U.S. continues negotiation failures

-

The U.S. continues its unbroken record of never having won peace or negotiations when it comes to dealing with Iran (“How the U.S. can win at nuclear poker with Iran,” Our view).

Iran, a master of subterfuge, again is leading not only the U.S. but five other nations down a primrose path, first promising to be flexible, then reneging, after gaining time or some advantage.

Contrary to the editorial, which stated that “Iran might be unlikely to strike Israel,” the leaders of Iran have demonstrated by words and actions that they will do anything under the sun to make sure that the Jewish state will no longer exist.

The view that Iran will not strike because of Israel’s massive deterrence is a myth. One Iranian nuclear bomb could destroy both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. A geographically large Iran is capable and willing to withstand any response, despite casualties.
