Fred Couples will return for a third stint as U.S. captain Oct. 3-6, 2013, for the Presidents Cup in Dublin, Ohio. Nick Price, a three-time major champion from Zimbabwe, was selected to lead the International team. Greg Norman was the International team captain for the previous two competitions. Couples joins Jack Nicklaus as the only captains to serve in three matches. The Americans have won the Presidents Cup both times with Couples as captain. . . . Reserve center Nicky Anosike of the WNBA’s Los Angles Sparks will have arthroscopic surgery on her left knee today and will miss about six weeks.
