The alleged victims of Jerry Sandusky

To protect their identities, a Pennsylvan­ia grand jury report identified them by number. The numerical order does not represent the chronology of the alleged criminal activity. The list begins with Victim 1, whose allegation­s triggered the larger investigat­ion:

Victim 1 Allegedly period, beginning assaulted in during June 2005 a four-year when the child was 11 years old.

Victim 2 Former Penn State University football assistant Michael McQueary reports seeing Sandusky in a sexually suggestive position in the locker room showers with a boy, believed to be 10 years old, on Feb. 9, 2001. The alleged victim has not been found.

Victim 3 The alleged victim was 12 when the abust began in July 1999 and continued to December 2001.

Victim 4 The alleged abuse began in 1996, when the child was 12 years old, and continued to December 2000.

Victim 5 The child was 12 or 13 years old when the alleged abuse occurred in August 2001 at the university locker room facility.

Victim 6 The alleged abuse occurred between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. May 3, 1998, in the university locker room. The child was 11 at the time.

Victim 7 The child was 9 years old when the alleged abuse began in September 1995 and continued to December 1996. The abuse allegedly occurred at Sandusky’s home and the university locker room facility.

Victim 8 The alleged abuse occurred between between Nov. 20 and 27, 2000, involving a child believed to be as young as 11. The alleged victim has not been found. A university janitor initially reported the incident to co-workers, who provided the account to a Pennsylvan­ia grand jury. The janitor who allegedly witnessed the incident suffers from dementia and is incompeten­t to testify.

Victim 9 The alleged abuse occurred between July 2005, when the child was 12 years old, and December 2008.

Victim 10 The child was 10 years old when the alleged abuse began in September 1997 and continued to July 1999.
