Jan. 13: Dwyane Wade badly sprains right ankle in Heat’s third loss in a row, at Denver; he misses six games but Heat win eight of the next nine. Feb. 1-Feb. 23: 11-2 record. April 1: The Heat lose at Boston 91-72, the lowest point total of the season when the regulars played. May 13: Chris Bosh, with 13 points and five rebounds in 16 minutes to open the series vs. Indiana, strains a lower abdominal muscle late in the first half and doesn’t return to action until June 5. May 17: Heat fall behind Pacers 2-1 in series in 94-75 loss as Wade shoots 2-for-13 and is seen on TV arguing with coach Erik Spoelstra. June 5: Heat lose their third in a row to Boston and face playoff eliminatio­n.
