Senate LOUISIANA
INCUMBENT: MARY LANDRIEU (D)
Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu has been called vulnerable in each of her three prior Senate races, and her fourth run is no different. Louisiana regularly votes Republican in presidential years, and Landrieu’s support of the Affordable Care Act has not helped boost her popularity. Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy, retired Air Force colonel Rob Maness and state legislator Paul Hollis are all running. Because of the state’s primary system, the Senate race may not be decided until December if no candidate, regardless of party, gets more than 50% of the vote on Nov. 4.
