INCUMBENT: MARK UDALL (D)
The political landscape in this swing state changed here with the news of Rep. Cory Gardner, a rising GOP star, jumping into the race to challenge Democratic incumbent Mark Udall. Prior to that, a Quinnipiac University poll showed Udall could be vulnerable. That poll also showed 59% of Colorado voters had soured on President Obama and disapproved of the way he’s doing his job; he won the state by 5 points in 2012.
