Regulations are needed to keep business in check

-

Overregulation, not regulation per se, is the problem. When agencies can arbitrarily influence who are winners and losers, the marketplace suffers.

High taxation doesn’t promote prosperity. Unless, of course, you work for the government. High taxation drives businesses out of the marketplace.

Many people complain about businesses going overseas to seek profits. Outsourcing is an effect; local business environment is the cause.

Brad Mueller

Regulations are intended to protect the health and safety of workers and to reduce the amount we pollute our environment.

Entitlement programs are destroying the work ethic in this country. Furthermore, the regulatory environment has greatly hampered the incentive for entrepreneurs to start new business enterprises.

Finally, the tax code for business enterprises encourages them to keep their profits earned offshore instead of being taxed at a higher rate back in the United States.

Jeff Muchow

Calling for fewer regulations without naming specific regulations is not a solution. Calling to get rid of Obamacare but not explaining how the health care system should work is not a solution.
