For its latest attempt to get attention, and ratings traction, FYI brings us The Seven Year Switch, which takes four married couples at the seven-year mark and lets them switch partners to see whether the new mates in their “experimental” marriages might be more suited to them than their real spouses. No word on whether the experimentation spreads to the bedroom. FYI, however, hastens to add that none of the couples has children — because even for reality shows, encouraging infidelity among parents is that bridge too far.
