lemaka and freshman running back Marcel Brooks-Brown were shot at a party Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Utes football coach Kyle Whittingham said. Both were expected to recover from gunshot wounds to the torso, Whittingham said. “We don’t have all of the details yet, but it is our understanding that they are the victims in this incident,” he said. According to a statement from the Salt Lake Police Department, the shooting occurred at a private party. The suspects had showed up at the party and were asked to leave.
